Citi's revised Bitcoin and Ethereum outlook
Citigroup, cited in multiple reports and described as a $2.8 trillion institution, raised its 12-month price targets: Bitcoin from $82,000 to $113,000 and Ethereum from $2,240 to $3,028. Citi attributed the upgrades to increased crypto market activity, a supportive macroeconomic environment, and a resumption of ETF inflows, and it expects roughly $5 billion of crypto market inflows over the next 12 months.
The firmβs note frames the revised targets as dependent on renewed ETF flows and broader market dynamics rather than a single isolated catalyst.
