Strive bitcoin accumulation and funding strategy

Strive increased its Bitcoin holdings again: CEO Matt Cole said the company bought another 1,107 BTC last week for $94.5 million, at an average cost of about $85,400 per coin (reports also cited $85,396), bringing total holdings to 27,462 BTC. Warrant exercises generated an additional $12.4 million.

The bulk of the latest capital—85%—came from SATA, Strive’s variable-rate preferred equity product used to raise funds to buy BTC. Tracking data put the average acquisition price of the entire stash at roughly $80,862, and with a cited market price of $83,300 the position is valued at about $2.3 billion and slightly in the green.
