Quant (QNT) banking deals and price surge

Quant’s QNT has experienced an extraordinary price and activity surge over the past week, with reports showing 24‑hour gains ranging from roughly 52% to 75% and weekly moves reported between about 185% and 322%. Intraday peaks briefly pushed QNT above $300–$350 in some feeds, with later trading bringing the token nearer to the $250–$280 range. The principal fundamental catalyst cited across reports is a major banking tie announced September 24: The Clearing House selected Quant to provide the interoperability, orchestration and transaction‑management layer for its On‑Chain Money Initiative, a shared network intended to clear and settle tokenized deposits. The Clearing House’s existing US payment networks clear and settle more than $2 trillion per day, and both parties expect the new system to be available to participating institutions in the first half of 2027.

That same day, UK pilots completed live customer transactions using tokenized sterling deposits on a platform Quant developed for the Great British Tokenised Deposit initiative, with Barclays, HSBC UK, Lloyds Banking Group, Monzo, Nationwide, NatWest and Santander participating. The initial transactions included two remortgage completions and a marketplace purchase where funds were locked and released automatically once conditions were met. Observers also pointed to Quant’s prior integrations and institutional work — such as a March integration with Murex’s MX.3 and involvement as an ECB pioneer partner for digital euro testing — as background supporting momentum. Technical commentary noted strong bullish momentum indicators and rising volumes during the breakout, while analysts warned that rapid parabolic gains raise the risk of consolidation and retracements. Key price areas mentioned for structure and risk management include immediate support near $249–$250, resistance zones around $290–$320 and $350–$370, and the historical high at $427.42 becoming a practicable target if buyers regain control above the latest resistance.
